This hands on class will concentrate study around questions of life regarding animals, covering animal families and their life processes, anatomy and physiology, nutrition and genetics, as well as the lives of animals including migration, conservation, care strategies, animal intelligence and ways animals help us and more.
We will discuss and learn about animals, engage activities, microscope work, and long term projects such as raising caterpillars into butterflies together during class, and also provide each student the materials and opportunity to create their own take home project representation of every class lesson as well.
