MUSIC FUNDAMENTALS FOR EVERYONE & ROC BAND
The ROC Band allows students of all instrument skill levels to play in an ensemble, and Music Fundamentals for Everyone is a general music class where all levels, beginner – advanced students cover theory, music reading, rhythm, harmony during their sessions.
In solo sessions, students can choose from a wide variety of instruments to focus on for their weekly 20 – 60 minute lessons.
In addition to getting the opportunity to explore many different instruments (piano, drums, guitar, bass, saxophone, flute, clarinet, ukelele, and more), worksheets, singing, clapping, drumming and dancing is used to help give students an understanding of the basic elements of music, and the skills to be to play tunes. In-person classes culminate in an end of semester performance.
